WHEN A SOLDIER COMES HOME, HE FINDS IT HARD TO...

.

... listen to his son whine about being bored.

... keep a straight face when people complain about potholes.

... be tolerant of people who complain about the hassle of getting ready for work.

... be understanding when a co-worker complains about a bad night's sleep.

... be silent when people pray to God for a new car.

... control his panic when his wife tells him he needs to drive slower.

... be compassionate when a businessman expresses a fear of flying.

... keep from ridiculing someone who complains about hot weather.

... control his frustration when a colleague gripes about his coffee being cold.

... remain calm when his daughter complains about having to walk the dog.

... be civil to people who complain about their jobs.

... just walk away when someone says they only get two weeks of vacation a year.

... be forgiving when someone says how hard it is to have a new baby in the house.

The only thing harder than being a soldier...

... is loving one.

Tea Parties And Cats And Dogs And Soldiers And Freedom

There was sooooooooooooo much rain when we woke up here in St. Louis on July 4th... cats and dogs flying all over the place! Fido and Fluffy drowned and became rats.

Who on earth didn't want to just go back to bed and not go check the basement for leaks?

Who?

Thousands of us.

Every one of them a patriot who loves their country.

Dana Loesch works her rear end off for this country, and all of us showed up to stand shoulder to shoulder with her. God Bless America!

God bless our military! We have fireworks and you have gunfire.

It's not fair. We salute you always.

God and Hollywood

I heard the people say they care about God more than Hollywood.

More than royalty.

More than czars.

The ultimate oxymoron in 2009? The Constitution Czar. Should we ask for one?

I HEARD THE PEOPLE SAY!

We thank God for all those who gave their time, their families and their lives for our country. Please do not forget them.

Janeane Garofalo

Everybody and their brother is blogging about her lately. Surely her career has stalled. No one in their right mind would say what she did unless one were desperate for publicity.

Normal people with regular values are sickened by all the reckless and impossibly wasteful spending of our tax dollars, because their uncle, father and/or brother are just trying to feed their families.

Why isn't she disgusted too? Or is she such a phony that she can only be disgusted when stereotypical Republicans do it?
